Weather Station with Ventilation Recommendation | ADE WS2132

When the window symbol is displayed on the ADE weather station, it means: Open windows and doors – for a healthier indoor climate and reduced spread of aerosols. The all-rounder provides all important data on climate and time. The weather forecast is displayed with animated symbols: What is the trend? Whether it will be sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy or snowing, the weather symbol provides information at a glance. And how is the air pressure developing? There is also an animated trend display for the integrated barometer. The thermometer with frost alarm (°C / °F) measures the indoor and outdoor temperature (-40 – +70 °C), the hygrometer the humidity (20 to 95 %) indoors and outdoors. In addition, the radio weather station offers a radio clock with DCF time signal and an alarm clock with dual alarm. The latter offers a snooze function from 5 to 60 minutes. The weekend mode is particularly practical for undisturbed sleeping in. A perpetual calendar with date and day display in 15 languages rounds off the extensive data package of the weather station.

Note: The dispersion of aerosols depends strongly on indoor humidity. This is what researchers from the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) in Leipzig, together with scientists from the CSIR-National Physical Laboratory in New Delhi, have found out. Thus, protection against infections is directly related to monitoring the indoor climate. A relative humidity of 40 to 60 percent can reduce the spread of viruses and their absorption via the nasal mucosa.
