Guide
Radio-controlled alarm clocks
Radio-controlled alarm clocks set themselves via the DCF time signal and switch automatically between summer and winter time. Many models also show the date and temperature, and some have two alarm times – for weekdays and weekends, for example.
Radio-controlled clocks
You can use digital radio-controlled clocks with extra-large digits as a table or wall clock – in the living room, kitchen or office. With a projection clock, you can see the time and temperature on the wall or ceiling at night.
Weather stations
A weather station shows you the temperature and humidity indoors and outdoors – the outdoor values are transmitted by a wireless outdoor sensor. Models such as the WS2506 add an animated weather forecast, air pressure, and heat and frost alarms.
Indoor climate
A thermo-hygrometer measures the temperature and humidity in the room. Models with a mold alarm warn you when the humidity exceeds the limit you have set.
In the Living category, you will find digital and analog radio-controlled alarm clocks, digital radio-controlled clocks for the table and wall, a radio-controlled clock with projection, a travel alarm clock and a bathroom clock. In addition, there are weather stations with a wireless outdoor sensor, including replacement sensors and a power supply, digital thermo-hygrometers, a window thermometer, a fridge thermometer and the digital luggage scale.
A radio-controlled alarm clock receives the DCF77 time signal and sets the time automatically – including the changeover between summer and winter time. The signal can be received within a radius of about 2,000 km around Frankfurt am Main. With our radio-controlled alarm clocks and radio-controlled clocks, you can also set the time manually.
A thermo-hygrometer measures the temperature and humidity in the room where it is placed – ideal for checking the indoor climate in the bedroom, children’s room or bathroom, for example. A weather station also shows the outdoor values via a wireless outdoor sensor and, depending on the model, a weather forecast, air pressure and an alarm function. Some models can be paired with up to three outdoor sensors.
The CK2304 bathroom clock is splash-proof to IP65 and shows the time, date, temperature and humidity. You can set the timer for up to 99 minutes; it gives an acoustic and visual signal – handy for keeping an eye on your shower time. You can attach it with the suction cup, hanging eyelet or stand; two AAA batteries are included.
Not every outdoor sensor fits every weather station. The sensor’s product page states which ADE models it is compatible with. You can find replacement and additional sensors in the Spare parts category, and all user manuals on the User manuals page.
