Founded in St. Pauli
The history of ADE begins in 1935 in the heart of St. Pauli. As a manufacturer of high-speed scales and slicers, the company was established right where trade, the port, and food-related industries made the need for precision technology visible every day.
1940-1945
Destruction in war
World War II hits ADE hard: The company building on Feldstraße is destroyed. This turning point is one of the most defining moments in the early history of the company.
1940s
Rebuilding the company
After the end of the war, reconstruction follows with great dedication. ADE makes a fresh start and reconnects with its roots – with the ambition to once again develop high-quality scales and slicing machines for professional use.

Growth during the economic miracle
