Which kitchen gadget is right for you?

Kitchen gadgets take care of the small tasks when cooking: grinding spices fresh, keeping an eye on cooking times, grinding coffee beans or opening cans. ADE offers electric salt and pepper mills with a continuously adjustable ceramic grinder (with tilt sensor, with LED light or rechargeable via USB-C), digital kitchen timers, a mechanical coffee grinder, an electric can opener and a digital refrigerator thermometer.

  1. Seasoning with one hand

The electric salt and pepper mill with tilt sensor grinds automatically as soon as you tilt it by 90° – no button needed. You can adjust the ceramic grinder continuously from fine to coarse, and the LED light helps in poor lighting.

  2. Charge instead of changing batteries

The electric mini salt and pepper mill has a rechargeable battery that you charge via USB-C – the cable is included. It grinds salt, pepper, chili or dried herbs at the push of a button, and the grind setting is continuously adjustable.

  3. Keep track of two times

Time the roast and the side dish in parallel: on the digital dual kitchen timer, two countdowns run independently of each other, each up to 99:59:59 hours. It stands on a fold-out stand, sticks with a magnet or hangs from an eyelet.

The mechanical coffee grinder grinds by hand crank with a ceramic burr – continuously adjustable from fine for espresso to coarse for the French press. The ground coffee goes straight into the included 65 g glass container.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Kitchen gadgets

All FAQs
Which electric salt and pepper mill is right for me?

All three mills have a continuously adjustable ceramic grinder and can be operated with one hand. The mill with tilt sensor starts automatically when tilted to 90°, the other large model at the push of a button – both have LED lighting and run on 6 included AAA batteries. The compact mini mill grinds at the push of a button and is charged via USB-C.

Which kitchen timer is the right one?

The flat digital kitchen timer counts down from up to 99:59 minutes, has a stopwatch and clock display, and sticks to the fridge with a magnet. The dual timer measures two times in parallel up to 99 hours and saves frequently used intervals. With the tilt timer, you start 1, 3 or 5 minutes by tilting it, and the alarm comes as a sound, vibration or both, as you prefer.

How do I keep an eye on the temperature in my fridge?

The digital fridge thermometer continuously shows the temperature in the fridge or freezer compartment, in °C or °F as you prefer. With the MIN/MAX function, you can see the highest and lowest values, so even brief temperature spikes are noticeable. You can attach it with a magnet, suction cup or hook, or stand it on its stand.

How does the electric can opener work?

You place the can opener on the can and press the button – it automatically travels once around the rim. The cutting mechanism leaves no sharp edges, and a magnet lifts off the lid. This is especially helpful if you have limited hand strength; 4 AA batteries are included.

Which kitchen gadgets need batteries?

The mini salt and pepper mill has a rechargeable battery and charges via USB-C, while the mechanical coffee grinder works entirely without power. The other two electric mills run on 6 AAA batteries and the can opener on 4 AA batteries – each included. Depending on the model, the timers and fridge thermometer need AAA batteries or a button cell.
