Which weather station is right for you?

A weather station shows you the temperature and humidity indoors and outdoors at a glance – the outdoor values are supplied by a wireless outdoor sensor. ADE's digital weather stations combine this with a weather forecast with trend display, min./max. memory and alarm function; depending on the model, they also offer air pressure and moon phase, a frost or mold alarm, or a projection of the time and temperature onto the wall or ceiling. You will also find matching additional and replacement outdoor sensors, a power adapter and a digital window thermometer here.

  1. Weather and climate at a glance

The WS2506 weather station shows the weather forecast, air pressure as well as indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, plus the moon phase and a radio-controlled clock with alarm function (one alarm time plus weekend alarm). A splash-proof outdoor sensor is included, and up to three can be paired. The frame is made of real wood.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Weather stations

All FAQs
How do the outdoor readings get to the weather station?

A wireless outdoor sensor measures temperature and humidity outside and sends the values by radio to the base station. On the WS2403 weather station, the range is up to 60 m. Depending on the model, up to three outdoor sensors can be paired.

Which outdoor sensor fits my weather station?

That depends on the model of your weather station. Enter the model number of your weather station in the spare parts advisor under Spare parts › Weather stations, for example WS2132. You will then immediately see which sensor fits as a replacement and which accessories are possible. You can find the model number on the rating plate of the station and in the user manual.

Where is the best place to mount the outdoor sensor?

According to the product information, an outdoor spot protected from direct rain is suitable. Also make sure that the sensor stays within radio range of the base station.

Do the weather stations run on batteries or a power adapter?

This varies by model: the WS2403 and the WS2506 run on batteries, while the WS1911 comes with a power adapter. The outdoor sensors each need 2 AAA batteries. Details for your model can be found on the product page and in the user manual.

Is there also a simple solution just for the outdoor temperature?

Yes, the digital window thermometer WS2510 is stuck to the outside of the window pane and shows the outdoor temperature, the time and min/max values with a trend arrow. It is protected against splashing water to IP44 and can be attached without tools.
