Which clock or alarm clock is right for you?
Radio-controlled clocks and radio-controlled alarm clocks receive a time signal by radio and set the time automatically – including the switch between daylight saving time and standard time. ADE offers digital and analog radio-controlled alarm clocks without ticking, radio-controlled clocks with large digits for hanging or standing, and a radio-controlled clock that projects the time onto the wall or ceiling. There is also an IP65 water-protected bathroom clock and a travel alarm clock with mirror. Many models also show the date, day of the week, room temperature and in some cases the humidity.

On the bedside table
A digital radio-controlled alarm clock without ticking sets itself via the DCF radio signal and automatically switches between daylight saving time and standard time. The CK2112 radio-controlled alarm clock has two alarm times, a snooze function and a light sensor that illuminates the display in the dark – plus temperature and humidity.

Time on the ceiling
If you don't want to reach for the bedside table at night, you can read the time on the ceiling: the CK2406 radio-controlled clock projects the time and temperature onto the wall or ceiling, and the projection can be rotated by 180°. It also has two alarm times and an outdoor sensor for the temperature outside.

In the bathroom
The CK2304 digital bathroom clock is protected against water to IP65 and shows the time, date, temperature and humidity. With a shower timer as well as a suction cup, hanging eyelet and stand, it fits on tiles, walls or shelves.

How does a radio-controlled clock set itself automatically?
Radio-controlled clocks and radio-controlled alarm clocks receive a time signal by radio (DCF) and use it to set the time automatically – including the switch between summer and winter time. Reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 km around Frankfurt am Main. On ADE radio-controlled clocks, you can also set the time manually.
Do the alarm clocks tick?
No, the digital clocks and alarm clocks work without ticking. The analog radio-controlled alarm clock CK2022 also has a silent movement – handy if you are sensitive to noise at night.
Do the clocks also show temperature and humidity?
Most models show the room temperature, many in °C or °F as you prefer. Some – such as the radio-controlled clocks CK2113, CK2301 and CK1927 or the radio-controlled alarm clock CK2112 – also measure humidity. The radio-controlled projection clock CK2406 also shows the outdoor temperature with its outdoor sensor.
Can I hang the clocks on the wall?
Many models are designed for hanging or standing and have a hanging loop and a stand, for example the radio-controlled clocks CK1704, CK1702, CK2113, CK2302 and CK1927. The bathroom clock can also be attached with a suction cup, and the digital clock CK2600 also with a magnet.
Do the clocks and alarm clocks need batteries?
Most clocks and alarm clocks run on batteries (AA or AAA depending on the model), which are already included with many models. The respective product page shows which batteries your model needs. The radio-controlled projection clock CK2406 comes with a power cable and also offers a USB charging function.
